DIVISIONS/AGES:
T-Ball (4-5-6 year olds): Instructional, non-competitive, no pitching, no scorebook, no tryouts necessary. 4 year olds may register for T-Ball only, however they must turn 5 by the end of the season (6/15/2010). Official government birth certificate is required. 7 year olds can play down in T-Ball pending a safety evaluation. $70 per player.
Northwest (7-8 year olds): Instructional, non-competitive, coach pitch and introduction to player pitch. NW is divided into two categories, NW Yellow (primarily 7 year olds) and NW Blue (primarily 8 year olds). NW Yellow is coach pitch for the first half of the season; second half of the season player pitch is introduced with a coach coming in to pitch if the player pitcher issues four balls outside the strike zone to the batter. NW Blue is player pitch the entire season, and similar to NW Yellow, a coach will pitch if a player pitcher issues four balls outside the strike zone to the batter. 6 year olds can play NW Yellow if they have played T-Ball for one year and pending a safety evaluation. 7 year olds can play NW Blue pending a safety evaluation. $80 per player.
Pac Coast (9-10 year olds): Minor division, introduction to competitive baseball, player pitch, scorebook, no standings. 8 year olds can play PC if drafted and pending a safety evaluation. $80 per player.
National (11-12 year olds): Major division, competitive baseball, scorebook, standings. 10 year olds can play Nationals if SCLL is notified at time of registration and if drafted. $80 per player.
Jr./Sr./Big League (13-18 year olds): Competitive baseball. $105 per player. Jr. & Sr.'s will be contacted individually and notified of the tryout date and time.
Softball (All ages): SCLL Softball registrants will play with Glenwood Little League. If you live within the SCLL boundaries you must register with SCLL first. Please register in person. $90 per player.
MAXIMUM CHARGE PER FAMILY: OLDEST 2 PLAYERS.
THE JOSH HOJNACKI SCHOLARSHIP FUND PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO OFFSET THE COST OF PLAYING BASEBALL FOR FAMILIES. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST AND BASED ON NEED.
ANY PLAYER NOT LIVING WITHIN THE SCLL BOUNDARIES MUST REGISTER IN-PERSON AS SCLL MUST APPROVE AND SIGN A WAIVER.
